Hi. Welcome to our site. Blood Brothers Aid Inc. (BBA), is a non-profit organization set under the laws of the Philippines founded last July 2009 by a Columban priest Rev. Fr. Donald Kill. The organization is composed of children and adults suffering from Hemophilia and it is dedicated in improving the lives of its members. Hemophilia is a hereditary genetic disorder that impairs the ability to control blood clotting or coagulation leading to uncontrolled bleeding that, if not addressed promptly, can lead to death. It is the advocacy of the organization to promote hemophilia awareness, promote brotherhood with fellow hemophiliacs, inspire people of different cultural orientations to become our sponsors to help in supply school fees, foods, medicines, transportation to clinics and hospitals and to assist us in lobbying with the government for medical support in the hope that we can live our lives to the fullest. The organization has the vision to provide an enhanced and empowered quality of life among Filipino Hemophiliacs by providing programs and services that offers assistance and support. From our statement of vision, we established as our mission the following statements; to reach and bring together committed individuals with hemophilia and their families to promote the sharing of experiences, brotherhood, and advocacy; to foster adequate care, management and better understanding of hemophilia; to make various educational services and programs for hemophiliacs in all stages of life; to present ways to empower its members and improve their commitment to the organization; and to seek and establish support from the government and other organization. We have been justifying our existence as hemophiliacs to carry the light of progress and worth, and at the same time, as humans created not just to suffer from our illness but to be protected and taken care of. We know where we are heading for. That we are leading a life geared to promote awareness and brotherhood among the components of the society where we belong. We are not just an organization of robust ideals, but of substantial deeds and true actions.
